Introducing Metta Wellness, a heart-centered approach to mental health care.

Get accessible and personalized mental healthcare in-person or from the comfort of your home.

Psychotherapy Through Loving Kindness

Metta, a Buddhist concept meaning loving-kindness towards oneself and others, is a foundational element in our approach. By integrating this practice with a range of therapeutic interventions—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), exposure therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, behavioral activation, solution-focused therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, psychoeducation, and relaxation techniques—we help clients cultivate life-changing habits. This comprehensive approach is designed to enhance their ability to manage daily challenges with greater ease and resilience. Through these diverse methods, we aim to promote personal growth, improve well-being, and support clients in leading more fulfilling lives.

    Chris Maniscalco, LCSW

“After sudden life changes, which were in some ways out of my control, I began seeing Chris on a weekly basis. We have tackled everything from the initial problem, to deep-seated trauma. While letting me go at my own pace at times, he is very proactive in giving me the little nudges I may need while exploring varying subjects about my traumas and anxiety. I highly recommend him, and don't know how differently my life would look today, had I not taken the step in making my first appointment nearly 3 years ago.””
